Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has revealed his painful experiences regarding the 1993 arms seizure case and his imprisonment.

During a recent interview with Indian media, Sanjay Dutt mentioned the threats faced by his family after the demolition of the Babri Masjid, saying, "My father and sisters were being threatened."

Sanjay Dutt, while revealing his imprisonment in prison, said, "I was accused of having a gun but this allegation could not be proven. I don't know why it took them 25 years to admit this and then I was convicted even though I did not have a gun.

Sanjay Dutt said, "The authorities should not have delayed much in proving my innocence in the bomb blast case, but I consider it a part of my life and try to learn from it. During my imprisonment, I spent most of my time reading and studying religious books, books on land structure and law. I had requested the court to expedite the proceedings of the case related to me and conclude it, no matter what the verdict is."

Talking about his prison activities, the actor once again said, "I earned a salary during my imprisonment, then started a radio station, other prisoners helped write the script for the show, I also formed a small theater group inside the prison of which I was the director and the murderers were my artists."

It should be noted that after several bomb blasts in Mumbai on March 12, 1993, Sanjay Dutt was convicted of illegal possession and possession of weapons, after which an Indian court sentenced Sanjay Dutt to 5 years in prison in 2013.
